Who We Are

WePC is the place to go when you’re looking to build or upgrade your PC and need expert, unbiased advice. Our talented team of PC builders and content writers work hard to make sure every build, review, and how-to piece we publish is tailored for you, rather than generic articles you can get elsewhere on the web.

What We Do

From reviewing individual components to sharing the latest gaming and tech news to helping you build your first or fiftieth build – WePC is about empowering you as a consumer. Owned by By Gamers For Gamers, we’re part of a publishing group that is working hard to give consumers the power to enjoy their gaming in their own way.

We are passionate about tech so we extensively research and recommend products across all budgets and specification. To help us to continue to take the time creating honest, thorough and unbiased recommendations we do receive an affiliate commission on some, but not all, of the products that we recommend after you click through to a retailer site.

Once an article is published we don’t just leave it, the team are always on the pulse keeping our recommendations relevant as new products are coming to market all year. This ensure that you can rely and trust our product recommendations.

WePC Who We Are
WePC What We Do

A Trusted Source

We never recommend a product that we wouldn’t use ourselves and all of our builds have been chosen for their quality and power. As much as possible, we like to get hands-on with products and test them out ourselves before sharing them with you. This means we’ll be able to let you know if something doesn’t live up to expectations.

The whole WePC team is made up of gamers and tech-enthusiasts, so we know what we’re talking about. We know how frustrating it is when your PC can’t run your favorite game, and we’re always the first in line for new product releases.

Our Editorial Guidelines

We take our recommendations and advice very seriously, that is why we have strict editorial guidelines that the team adhere to.

Our Review Process

When you set out to build a PC, you have a lot of options. Whatever your skill level or budget, WePC is here to make sure you can create the PC you really want. For every component, there are hundreds of options, many of them with a long line of user reviews that make it difficult to know which one to choose.

That’s where we come in.

We test the products in-house and collate all the data we can find to provide personalized and trustworthy recommendations.

Tested experts and by more than one of the dedicated product testers

Some of the products we recommend have been sent to us, and some have been bought out of our own money – but all are evaluated equally. We don’t shy away from saying something isn’t good enough, and we never let brands dictate what we should say. That’s why you know you can trust our reviews.

And, because we’re all real gamers and real PC builders, we know what we’re talking about and what really matters to you.

Independent Testing

We’re all gamers, but we don’t all play the same games. We have fans of AAA FPS games like PUBG and CS: GO, gamers who’ve clocked up some serious hours questing in Azeroth in World of Warcraft, and those who always manage to find the coolest new Indy game releases on the market.

Because of this, when we test, we test for all gamers.

And we don’t expect you to just take our word for it either. We search the internet for customer reviews and ask for your feedback on everything we publish. We make sure that your voice gets heard through our Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as in our own dedicated Community site.

WePC Where We Test

Where We Test

The WePC offices are a hub of activity every day of the week. You’ll usually find someone building a PC in one corner, another tester playing through PUBG to test a new graphics card across the way, and someone unboxing our latest deliveries in our studio.

We’ve designed our headquarters to make sure we can push the components we get to the limits and try out everything from gaming chairs to consoles to VR games as well.

Product Acquisition

The products we review are a mixture of gifted items and independently sourced ones. However we acquire these products, our reviewing process does not change. We strive to remain entirely objective throughout the process and won’t shy away from saying a product needs improvement, even if it was gifted to us.

WePC Product Acquisition

Our Promise

We strive to provide our readers with the best advice on the internet. We work hard to provide truthful, consumer-focused, and trustworthy content that helps guide you to the best purchase decisions.

We earn money when a reader clicks through to a product page and makes a purchase – but it doesn’t matter which one. We will only direct them to the best of the best. If our readers don’t trust us, we make nothing and they don’t return. So we do all we can to build up and foster that trust with you so you keep coming back time and again.

Meet The Team

The team is constantly growing here at WePC and we make sure that everybody we add brings their own unique skillset to the table. This is why our blend of talent is like nothing else in the PC publishing industry. We are proud of our team. Without them, we are nothing.

First getting into PC gaming through exposure to text game Drug Lord and then the original Half Life, still one of his all-time favourites, Aaron has been a PC gamer ever since. He soon after discovered PC Gaming, creating accounts for games like World of Warcraft and League of Legends, two games he has played ever since. At some point, Craig decided to write about them in his spare time, inevitably leading to his position as a resident esports and competitive gaming writer at BGFG.

Having been a keen console gamer from a young age, she now has a collection of old paraphernalia gathering dust — sacrilege! — in the hopes of one day having a residence big enough to house the ultimate haven of retro gaming systems… including a Guitar Hero arcade machine.
