I have a Ryzen 3700x Cpu with a GeForce 2060 gpu as well as a samsung 970 evo ssd, but I somehow am unable to keep a stable framerate of 144… why? It was always stable before, I updated any drivers, I overclocked my gpu, I’m lost at this point. Can someone help figure out my situation. Fortnite stutters a lot now and brings my frames from 144 down to a range of 30,60, 90, and 50 for some odd reason. It doesn’t do it to COD which averages 130 frames stabilized. I’ve deleted and reinstalled fortnite but it still has stuttering, my old setting were able to run epic settings no problem.

These reccomended specs are outdated. You will need at least 8GB ram, 50-100GB disk space(Yes I’m not kidding) 2GB graphics. At least 2.9GHZ for proccesor and for the OS I reccomend Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.

amd a6 9500
rx560 4gb
8gb ram
and i get around 40 fps on low,medium or high
i do all boost tricks
but hothing is helpful

  change your cpu . if you are tight on budget ,
  than go with ryzen 3 1200 , ryzen 3 3100 or ryzen 5 1600 .
  i also use a a6 apu . these a6 apus are very bad in these days.

  It should be able run to run above 40 fps. Also you don’t need to list Cortana in your system specs, Cortana is just Microsoft’s version of Siri or Google assistant.

  You might get away playing it in low graphics – 720p. But anything higher you’d really struggle.

Hello everyone,
I see that there are different minimal system requirements written on the site of Epic Games. Which is true?

I also want to ask if I am able to run Fortnite.

CPU: Intel pentium e5500
GPU: AMD rx570 8gb
RAM: 8GB
OS:Windows 10 64-bit
DirectX: Version 12

I am not able to run Fortnite, if I have to believe the site of Epic Games.
I did not try it yet.

      If you were playing Fortnite you’d be looking at an average of around 100FPS with this particular setup. Other games are more demanding and would see a pretty steep drop in FPS.

Hi, had problems with the Fortnite game, first when playing the game for half an hours, the whole PC shut down due to graphics cards overheated(using GTX 970 graphic card.) . Same problem happened after few days until the card burnout. Change to GTX 1660 graphic card, it last for only 3 hours before the card overheated and shutdown again. It is something wrong with the game?
My PC specs is :
I7 6770k CPU
16gb ram
250 GB ssd
3 TB HDD
4 GB GTX 1660 OC graphics card.
GA 110H D3A motherboard

  It sounds like you have an issue with airflow, you should check and make sure all your fans are spinning and if your pc is full of dust buy a can of compressed air and blow it out. If it isn’t either of those you should switch your case fans, or just buy a different case and transfer everything over.

  Your PC is seriously well-equipped, tgere might be a n issue with the motherboard or the cooling system. Try installing additional fans and also check the direction of their throw.

I have read a bunch of sites about “why your fps dropped at the release of chapter two fortnite” and they say epic games made the game more playable by decreasing the grafics but my computer just stoped working when chapter two came out. Like the grafics won’t load in, the game takes forever to load “like 10 min load time” and my computer is a 450 dolor windows ten 2017 laptop. I also had no recent downloads or updates to any software on my computer when chapter two started. Also is this site up to date on fortnite chapter two required hardware?
