Disco Elysium is a detective fantasy single-player role-playing game that taps into the classic trope of the rough around the edges cop tasked with solving a crime. To make matters worse, our protagonist suffers from amnesia.

Via an isometric perspective, players unravel an open-ended case through the exploration of an open-world set in the corrupt and crime-ridden town of Revachol West. Optimal Hardware Suggestions

A stunning visual treat, especially in its stellar hand-drawn art style, Disco Elysium is surprisingly easy on requirements, partly due to the nature of the game. Thankfully, it’s also well-optimized, which helps to iron our performance issues. The bottom line is that Disco Elysium won’t require a top of the line gaming PC, and that is a welcome respite from hardware-hungry games.

Eyeing the minimum specifications, it’s rare to see a game released in 2019 able to run with an integrated GPU, and surprisingly this translates to more than respectable performance. The game works well with such a build, and you can expect 30-40 FPS at 720p with the settings hovering around low to medium.

There’s a sharp jump to the recommended requirements, especially from an integrated GPU to an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 and the need for an Intel Core i7. In our estimation, the recommended specs are a little overkill and are more or less unneeded to get the best out of Disco Elysium.

Nevertheless, for the sake of being thorough, you can expect anywhere upwards of 60 FPS with the settings on high with a resolution of 1440p if you have a build matching the recommended settings.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend?
