Nintendo Announces A Raft Of Switch Releases & Ports At E3

Amid the Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel fuss during the E3 Direct presentation, Nintendo also revealed an extensive list of planned Switch releases and ports with a few choice surprises.

Here’s everything coming to Switch in 2019 and beyond.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy

In a pairing that seems perfectly suited to the Switch, everyone’s favorite dragon arrives on the console on September 3, 2019, with Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

The long-awaited Switch port of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch hits stores September 20, 2019, alongside PlayStation 4 and PC versions.

Minecraft Dungeons

Standalone Minecraft-related action RPG dungeon crawler, Minecraft Dungeons hits Switch in spring 2020 with a novel top-down perspective. You won’t need the base game to play either.

The Sinking City

Tentacular horror adventure, The Sinking City, gets a Switch port in autumn 2019. The release is a few months after other platforms but should be well worth the wait given its dark atmospherics and Lovecraftian setting.

Dauntless

Initially mobile-only action RPG Dauntless is getting a Switch port by the end of 2019.

Alien: Isolation

Now this one is an oddity if there ever was one. Heartbeat disrupting survival horror game Alien: Isolation gets a Switch port sometime in 2019.

Final Fantasy Chronicles Remastered

The remastered version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles lands on Switch and PlayStation 4 before the end of 2019.

New Super Lucky’s Tale

A port for Switch with a slight retitling as New Super Lucky’s Tale should arrive before 2019 comes to a close.

Resident Evil 5 & Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 5 and 6 are heading to Switch this autumn packing every single DLC and expansion for both titles.

Hollow Knight Silkson

The Hollow Knight Silkson DLC is hitting the Switch first out of all the consoles sometime in the future with a suitably vague “coming soon” attached.

The Elder Scrolls Blades

Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls: Blades arrives on Switch anytime from autumn 2019 onwards and other than iOS and Android, is the only console port currently planned.

My Friend Pedro

Balletic shooter-em up My Friend Pedro heads to Switch June 20, 2019, and is an indie to watch out for if only for the carefully orchestrated acrobatics the game promises.

Doom Eternal

Sticking to the same game plan as DOOM 2016, Bethesda is fully embracing a day one Switch release for DOOM Eternal on November 22, 2019.

Wolfenstein Youngblood

Like DOOM Eternal, another heavy hitter from the Bethesda stable, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, hits Switch when it releases next month on July 26, 2019.

Dead by Daylight

Asymmetric multiplayer horror phenomenon Dead by Daylight finally arrives on Switch from September 24, 2019. It’s addictive as it is so add in Switch’s portability and you’ll never put this one down.

Dragon Quest Builders 2

Cutesy battle building sim Dragon Quest Builders 2 drops on July 12, 2019.
