Sony home theater systems and Sony AV systems will enjoy a range of discounts this Black Friday. There won’t be a better time in the year to buy this expensive selection of equipment than on Black Friday 2021. We’ve listed all the biggest discounts on Sony home theater TVs, Sony home theatre projectors, projector screens, Sony soundbars, and multi-channel home theatre setup deals to cover all your audio-visual needs.
If you already know the exact piece of Sony AV gear you’re thinking of buying, do have a look at the preliminary list below to see the best Black Friday 2021 Sony home theater deals:
There are different options to choose from when it comes to home theater setups this Black Friday. You can go with either a TV or a projector plus projector screen, and pair this with either a standalone soundbar or the surround sound, multi-channel home theater speaker setup, for that true cinematic feel. We have selected the best of these options below under their respective section, and we leave it up to you to decide which you prefer. We have also listed a section at the bottom on home theater power managers/power conditioners to ensure your pricey equipment is protected at all costs.
If you want the best Sony TV available for your home cinema setup, then Black Friday 2021 will have a number of offers for you. The Sony A90J OLED is the best 4K Sony TV for this Black Friday. The Sony A90J OLED is also our pick for the best Sony TV for gaming, everything being taken into account, given its quick response times, 120Hz refresh rate, and low input lag – making it ideal for a dual-use setup. If you really want to push the boat out and go with an 8K home cinema setup, then the Sony KD-75ZH8 8K TV is the right choice for you. If your budget can’t quite stretch that far, then a Sony Bravia KD49XH8505BU is a decent mid-range option, with the Sony X750H bringing up the budget end.
Sony – 7.1 2 Channel Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and Wireless Subwoofer – Black
Package – Sony – 65″ Class BRAVIA XR A80J Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV and Sony 3.1 Ch Hi-Res Soundbar w/ Wireless Subwoofer – Black
Sony – 3.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Dolby AtmosDTSX and Built-In Wi-Fi – Black
A home theatre projector is an alternative worth considering vs a large TV this Black Friday, offering a lighter, more easily stored option, which still gives a top-class cinematic experience (arguably even closer to being in the cinema), albeit with slightly less vibrancy than TVs offer. The best of the premium options in our opinion is the Sony VPL-VW590ES, which does give great, vibrant color replication and contrast ratio, really making those images pop on the native 4K footage it projects. Motion tracking is also great, which is really a strength for Sony projectors in particular, meaning faster-moving footage or sports look top class. The Sony VPL-VW290ES is a decent alternative, but it doesn’t quite have the same high-end image quality for not that much cheaper.
Sony – 4K HDR Home Theater Projector – Black
Whilst having a great range of projectors, Sony isn’t well known for their projector screens to display the image on. If you’re looking for a projector screen this Black Friday 2021 then, we’d advise checking out our main Black Friday home theater page for options to add to your Sony home cinema setup.
Top of the pile for premium Sony soundbars to go with your Sony home theater setup is the Sony HT-A7000. This soundbar comes with an array of features, great Dolby Atmos support, though it isn’t quite the bassiest choice around. If you’re after something cheaper then the Sony HT-X8500 is a respectable 2.1 channel option with good dialogue handling, but it lacks the immersion of the pricer options.
Sony – 7.1 2 Channel Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and Wireless Subwoofer – Black
Package – Sony – 65″ Class BRAVIA XR A80J Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV and Sony 3.1 Ch Hi-Res Soundbar w/ Wireless Subwoofer – Black
Sony – 3.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Dolby AtmosDTSX and Built-In Wi-Fi – Black
If you’re looking for more than just a standalone soundbar, the Sony HT-ST5000 with Dolby Atmos support is a great choice for those who still want to still have a minimal setup; coming as it does with the soundbar plus a single subwoofer, but still offering 7.1.2 surround sound. The sound quality is superb and it has great, throbbing bass replication, as well as being Chromecast compatible. If you want a true multi-channel surround sound setup with all the speakers then the Sony BDV-N7200W 5.1 channel surround sound system is a great option and comes with a dedicated receiver that plays Blu-Ray and 3D content. The speakers are connected via wi-fi so you won’t have to trip over any wires in your home theater environment.
Sony does not make their own home theatre power managers aka home theater power conditioners, unfortunately, but you can check out our main home theater Black Friday page for recommendations and deals on these items from other companies to finish off your Sony home theater setup.
