League of Legends: Ruined King System Requirements

Can I Run League of Legends: Ruined King?

Looking to explore the League of Legends world by delving into one of their narrative-driven spinoff stories? If you’re used to playing the classic MOBA League of Legends game, you may be in for a surprise.

Ruined King is likely to have higher system requirements than its MOBA counterpart given that it’s a role-playing game. Just because your PC played League of Legends fine before, doesn’t mean it’ll be the same for this spinoff. You will need to check the system requirements and your own PC specs to make sure your PC can handle running this game smoothly.

If you are unsure of how to check your PC specifications, we have written a handy guide on how to find them. The good news is, you won’t have to do this all yourself in the future. We are currently developing a tool that will automatically check whether your PC is up to the task of running specific games. We will let you know as development progresses.

If you find that your PC can’t handle running this title, it might be time for an upgrade. We’ll list some of the key components and suggested builds at the end of this post.

League of Legends: Ruined King Game Details

  • Release date: Unknown – Console and PC
  • System Requirements: Medium

This title is a single-player, turn-based RPG game that gives fans of the League of Legends world something new to explore. It’s set after the events of Burning Tides, in the same world as League of Legends and uses the lore of Runeterra. Players will get to take control of familiar League of Legends Champions and explore the city of Bilgewater as well as the mysterious-looking island of Shadow Isles.

It gives League of Legends fans something familiar to enjoy but with a completely different and fresh new experience. We don’t know too many in-depth details of this game as of yet, but given the vast popularity of League of Legends, it looks like this title will appeal to the same core audience.

Optimal Hardware Suggestions

As this title has only just been announced, we can only speculate the minimum and recommended requirements. With the increased game specifications of late, it’s looking more and more likely that a higher budget PC will be necessary.

If you manage to meet the recommended requirements that we have predicted, we’d hope this would achieve a framerate of around 60 FPS at a resolution of 1080p when this title releases.

It’s always best to come prepared when League of Legends: Ruined King does release, aiming for the minimum specifications doesn’t get you far these days when it comes to new releases. We expect our predicted minimum requirements will only net you around 30 FPS, which isn’t the best playing experience.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend?

If you are looking to upgrade your system or even build a completely new one, opting for a high-end system is always the best option if your budget allows it. It’s hard to say just how demanding this new title will be, but aiming for the high side should put you in a good position to play at those higher settings.

Some of the components you should focus on when building a gaming PC are the following:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 Super

A computer of this caliber should set you back around $800, if you need a good starting point to go off we have a large range of build guides on our website to help you out.
