Can I run Marauders on my computer?

The Marauders system requirements have not yet been released by Team17 and Small Impact Games, however after the Early Access Closed Alpha we’ve been able to get a good idea of what hardware will run the game, so have come up with our own estimatations which we list below. Impressively, the game runs fairly well even on moderately powerful systems, so whilst you’ll need something with a bit more power to run the game at a decent FPS on the higher resolutions, at 1080p cheaper and older machines can run it fairly well. Marauders is an extract-type game, similar to Escape From Tarkov in its first-person PVP and PVE combat, looting and weapon mod focus (albeit less hardcore) but also with third-person spaceship piloting and combat. The game has a ‘Dieselpunk’ aesthetic, being set in an alternative timeline where The Great War (WW1) never ended, leaving the planet ravaged by industrialisation and famine, causing humanity to look to the stars. Expect lots of WW1, WW2, and Cold War era infantry weapons mixed with space combat in riveted metal space craft.

As stated, there haven’t been any official Marauders system requirements released yet by the developers, so the below are our own estimates based on playing the Closed Alpha. Unlike what most publishers give you, the minimum requirements below will actually allow you to play the game to a respectable standard, though we’d aim for as close to the recommended system requirements as possible. More powerful components than the recommended requirements will get you better performance still.

• RAM : 16GB RAM
• GPU / Video Card : Nvidia RTX 3070 / AMD equivalent
• Storage : TBC
• Operating System : Windows 10 (64-bit OS required)

What gaming PC do we recommend to play Marauders?

A $1,000 self-build PC will let you play Marauders on low-medium settings for decent FPS at 1080p, though we’d recommend a $2,000 self-built gaming PC if you want to get the most out of the game.

If you don’t fancy the idea of constructing your own gaming rig, then consider checking out a prebuilt gaming PC for $1,500 or $2,000, which should run Marauders no problem.
