Optimal Hardware Suggestions

Whether you’re new to the Trine franchise or you’re a long-time fan, you will want to run this game on ultra settings to truly experience the fantastic world in this game.

As always, we would tell you to aim for the recommended requirements to start off with. This will allow you to play the game on a solid 1080p resolution, achieving a consistent 60 FPS without any issue.

If you can only manage the minimum requirements, be prepared for a step back in gaming quality. Your resolution may need to be scaled back and some of your graphical settings turned down, these settings should still have you running at around 30 FPS though, which on titles like these, isn’t the worst stepdown in gameplay.

However, if you really want a great gaming experience, perhaps it’s time for an upgrade? We would always recommend going for better specs than the requirements say just to play it safe. If you want a starting point, our guide on how to build a gaming PC might come in handy for you.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend?

To run this title, our best recommendation is to err on the side of caution and go for a mid-range PC build around the $700 range. With a PC build like this, you should have no issue getting up to 1080p resolution with 60 FPS without stuttering or lagging.

The following PC build should be more than sufficient for this title and will also run other games comfortably too:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX590 8GB

If you have the budget though, there’s never any harm in going one step further. With games these days becoming more and more advanced, a better build of PC is important if you want it to keep up with advances in gaming technology for a few years to come.

Why not take a look at our $800 PC builds? This PC build includes an upgraded graphics card, the MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Super.
