With GPU prices still soaring throughout the industry, and across all regions, we’ve found a little deal over on Best Buy that should perk up your ears, even if you might not need the rest of the system. A quick peruse on eBay tells us that aftermarket prices on 3080 cards are still looking upwards of $1600, so paying the extra $400 for an Intel Core i7-11700KF, 2TB HDD, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD all wrapped up in a lovely ASUS ROG case is a pretty fantastic deal if you ask us. It even comes with a carrying handle to see all the friends you don’t have (Because you don’t own a gaming PC with an RTX 3080, obviously.)

The case is OEM, which means it’s not usually commercially available outside of prebuilt systems, but you can find an excellent Reddit thread on how to modify the case if you’re needing some more room for other components that you might want to put in here. Though, a company like ASUS should know their way around how to put together a system, so while we have not tested it, we know that you can probably trust ASUS of all brands to make a really good PC that won’t struggle and won’t hit thermal limits all the time.

It even comes with Windows 11, should you choose to pick Microsoft’s newest operating system. The only thing you’ll need is a keyboard and mouse, which is something that many people tend to miss out on. But this deal appears to come with an OEM mouse and Keyboard. However, if you are after something a little bit better, we recommend that you check out our top picks for a mouse and keyboard here.

Best Buy states that it might take a couple of weeks to ship, depending on where you are based. So be sure to order in time for all the brand-new games you’ll be wanting like Battlefield 2042. In the meantime, you should be able to run just about anything you throw at this system with some room to spare, thanks to its incredibly impressive specs. The case is OEM, which means it’s not usually commercially available outside of prebuilt systems, but you can find an excellent Reddit thread on how to modify the case if you’re needing some more room for other components that you might want to put in here.
