The Alienware m15 R6 is the best all-round 1080p Alienware laptop in terms of performance and value, coming with 165Hz and 250Hz display options, a good response time, and GPU selections that range between the Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3070, as well as a nice portable design. The Alienware x15 offers comparable core components and FPS but only one 165Hz 1080p display option – it’s the most slimline and portable option (comparable to the Razer Blade) but costs more than the m15 R6 for the same gaming power. If you want a 4K display, you can always opt for the Alienware m15 R4 gaming laptop and the UHD option, but be aware this means the display will be capped at 60Hz refresh rate, so we wouldn’t advise it for gaming on unless you don’t mind being capped at 60FPS.
