What are the best Epic Games Store deals this Black Friday?

It is starting to look like this may be the most impressive Black Friday sales event of all time. Deals are already starting to fly from various retailers, although Epic Games are yet to begin. We think there will be huge discounts on the majority of titles, with AAA games being at the forefront of savings.

Older games that are still played to death and highly popular will almost definitely feature in the deals too, along with any lesser-known indie titles.

How long will Epic Games Store Black Friday deals last?

The deals will begin bang-on Black Friday (November 26th, 2021) and could last up until early December. We are unsure at this stage but it is what EGS normally does around this time of year.

What Epic Games Store Black Friday deals did we see in previous years?

When last year’s Black Friday arrived on EGS, we saw up to 75% on loads of gaming titles.

The greatest deal we saw last year was on Red Dead Redemption 2, a stand-out title that takes you into America’s unforgiving heartland, with amazing graphics and breathtaking story. Epic Games Store had a deal on RDR2 offering 33% off last year, not bad.

We saw Outer Worlds and Borderlands 3 get 25% and 33% off respectively too, showing that even the popular games are going to be getting their prices slashed.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Assassins Creed Syndicate, Hitman, Killing Floor 2, Borderlands: The Handsome Collections and many, many more received a whopping 75% off last year and we expect more of the same this time around.

Epic Games Store Black Friday deals 2021 tips

To get ready, we advise you to sign up for Epic Games Store in preparation for the event. There is no need to enter any credit information at this stage but it’s good to have an account ready if you do not already. Signing up means you are likely to receive an email on the Black Friday deals before everyone else.

You should also take advantage of the wishlist feature while you can. Adding a game to your wishlist means that when it gets reduced in price, you will receive a notification.

Games to look out for this Black Friday

We are going to be continually updating this page with the best deals we find on Epic Games Store, for every genre whether it’s FPS, Action/ Adventure, RPG, or Battle Royale.

As mentioned it isn’t going to be just old titles getting a discount, so it is well worth stocking your digital cupboard with some more big games.

Games to watch out for:

  • Farcry 5
  • GTA 5
  • Mafia 3
  • Farming Simulator
  • Crysis Remastered
  • Metro Exodus
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  • Alan Wake
