RESPAWN 110 Gaming Chair

RESPAWN 110 Gaming Chair

Pros
Cons

The RESPAWN 110 racing style gaming chair is one of the best for its price. This cheap chair is the perfect alternative to the $200+ premium chairs we see, with similar levels of adjustment, comfort, and design.

We have gone for the black and grey chair, which is much more subtle than some of the other colors on offer from RESPAWN. Of course, you can always select a different color to match your bedroom/ office if you desired. The chair features padded armrests that pivot with the chairs recline function. The PU leather is durable and easy to clean, making this cheap gaming chair look professional while remaining affordable.

The RESPAWN 110 is very comfortable, as mentioned the cushioned armrests are excellent. Furthermore, the seat and backrest feature segmented padding, giving your body contoured support. This can recline up to 155 degrees, with infinite angle lock and tilt tension adjustment. Naturally, the chairs swivel and this comes with an extendable footrest that comes from beneath the chair.

As far as cheap gaming chairs go, the RESPAWN 110 is a superb choice. Aside from its durability, the chair ships with a head and lumbar support pillow, not to mention it also supports weight up to 275lbs.

KCREAM Gaming Chair

KCREAM Gaming Chair

Pros
Cons

The KCREAM high back computer chair is the best budget option for bigger framed gamers. This chair comes with a plethora of features and offers a superb level of support for the price.

This black KCREAM chair is just one of five available colors up for grabs, however, this model features a lovely stitched cushion pattern down the middle of the chair. Like the similarly priced RESPAWN 110, this chair comes with sufficient padding on the armrests, great adjustment options, and is completely covered in easy-to-clean PU leather.

This is a very comfortable chair and remains so, even for bigger gamers (up to 330lbs). The cushioned bucket seat wraps around your torso and provides excellent support. The included head pillow and lumbar support go a long way to making this comfy for many different sizes and we eve see a telescopic footrest. Aside from 360-degree rotation, the backrest can go back as far as 180 degrees, which is great if you fancy a nap.

This features class 4 gas lift and a thick steel frame, meaning this is going to be supportive for a very long time. This chair is on the higher end but for this amount of features, it is certainly worth considering.

SMUGDESK Mesh Chair-2579

SMUGDESK Mesh Chair-2579

Pros
Cons

Now technically the SMUGDESK Mesh Chair isn’t a gaming chair but you don’t need a racer-style seat to play games. This sub $100 chair is the perfect balance of ergonomic comfort and value.

This office chair comes in a black mesh (hence the name) and while the top half is mostly comprised of the mesh-like material, the bottom half is mostly padding. The mesh is breathable making this great for hotter climates and extended gaming sessions. Furthermore, the materials are abrasion resistant, making this last quite a while for such a low price.

Aside from great ergonomics, the chair comes with thickly padded armrests and a head support attachment. Furthermore, the padding on the chair and in the lumbar support area is high-density shaping foam.

This chair will support you through even the longest of gaming sessions and can accommodate gamers up to 300lbs, a great allrounder.

BestOffice PC Gaming Massage Chair

BestOffice PC Gaming Massage Chair

Pros
Cons

This massage chair from BestOffice has one of the more unique features on our round-up. Like most of our cheap gaming chair selections, this one also comes in a range of colors, again with the easy to clean PU leather.

This gaming chair is one of the more basic recommendations design-wise and comes in black and white. This is one of the cheapest chairs on the list and while it isn’t one of the comfiest, the included USB massager is a great little feature.

This is quite a firm chair, so it remains supportive and while the lumbar support pillow aids comfort, it is fixed in position, which could be a negative for some.

For such a cheap chair it is impressive how many features the BestOffice PC chair comes with. The armrest can fold away and this comes with a head pillow for extra comfort, giving you an absolute bargain.

Ace Bayou X Rocker II SE 2.1

Ace Bayou X Rocker II SE 2.1

Pros
Cons

While console gamers could easily take advantage of every cheap gaming chair on this list, we thought it necessary to include a chair specifically made for console gaming. X Rockers are well known in the Xbox and Playstation sphere and offer great comfort with built-in speakers and controls making them a very attractive option for more than just gaming.

This leather lounging chair rocks on its frame and is great for gaming, watching TV, reading, or even just chilling. The plush leather and inviting shape are very comfortable, making this great for long game sessions or films. The headrest protrudes from the backrest giving you some built-in neck support and the ergonomic shape makes this comfy for many different body types.

This may be rather plain in design but I think the understated look is always smart when working with leather. The chair provides a great immersive alternative to TV audio playback, with two speakers in the headrest and a 4” subwoofer pounding your back.

While they say this is compatible with most consoles you may need to grab an HDMI audio extractor v1.4 to use this with your Xbox One. It works fine with the PS4 and older consoles though and when sat at such a low price, this is a small compromise.

Final Word

Are gaming chairs worth it? Well, it is a tricky question, and with the amount of poor quality out there, sometimes the answer is no. That being said, if you can find a cheap gaming chair that is supremely comfortable and suits your needs, then you are on to a winner!

Gaming chairs are great regardless of the budget and are often a massive improvement on what we all tend to use. For gamers looking to get something that offers similar levels of adjustment, features, and comfort to the more premium, branded Secretlabs, go for the RESPAWN 110 gaming chair, you won’t be disappointed.

For the bigger-framed folx out there, check out the KCREAM gaming chair, as it offers support for the heavier fraggers.

If you are into your console gaming and aren’t too fond of the couch/TV speaker setup, then you may want to invest in the Ace Bayou X Rocker II.

Regardless which you go for, rest assured that each option in this review can bring something great to the table, or desk in this case. Are you currently looking for an upgrade from your dining chair or stool? Let us know what cheap gaming chair you are going to go for over at the WePC Community.
