Alienware AW2721D Gaming Monitor

Pros
Cons

The Alienware AW2721D may not be a cheap monitor, however, we consider this one of the best 27″ gaming monitors out there.

Along with high-quality materials and construction, we see a plethora of gaming features that will enhance your gaming experience to no end. The Nano IPS panel offers excellent viewing angles and delivers 95% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The monitor is very responsive, with a 1ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate that can be lowered to 144Hz easily for those that struggle to run certain games at such a high rate.

The high refresh rate makes this an ideal monitor for those that play esports titles but the color accuracy and resolution also make this ideal for a wide selection of gamers who would prefer a monitor that ticks a lot of boxes rather than specializing in just a few.

Overall, we were very impressed with this monitor, it isn’t just one of the best from Alienware, it’s one of the best, full-stop.

The Best Ultrawide Alienware Monitor

Alienware AW3821DW

Pros
Cons

This Alienware ultrawide is one of the brand’s later iterations and comes with more premium features than some of the other ultrawide models they offer.

As we see across the entire rage, the build quality is phenomenal, with this feeling like it will stand the test of time. The curved 37.5″ display sucks you into the gameplay and really does immerse you more than most. The nano IPS panel supports 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and delivers an accurate color display. the monitor is surprisingly very responsive, with a 1ms G2G response time but a feature we love is the high refresh rate and G-Sync, giving you less chance of losing immersion due to screen tear. We also see HDR600, giving you even more enjoyment during those single-player campaigns.

For those that love a bit of screen real-estate or are looking for that ultimate experience when playing AAA titles, this is a great option. however, if you love competitive esports titles, this is simply going to be far too big.

A high dynamic range, quality features, and an incredible aesthetic, what a monitor this is.

The Best Alienware Monitor For 1080p Gameplay

Alienware AW2720HF Gaming Monitor

Alienware AW2720HF Gaming Monitor

Pros
Cons

The Alienware AW2720HF gaming monitor is a slightly older model but one of the best for 1080p gameplay.

Despite offering gamers a slightly cheaper alternative here, Alienware does not crimp on quality once again. This is equipped with a 240Hz refresh rate and super-low 1ms response time, giving you a competitive edge in esports titles. We recorded a 111% sRGB volume with a 98.8% coverage, both perfectly acceptable for individuals editing within the sRGB color spectrum. Both Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 measured at around 72-75% which is still good for a panel of this particular marketing.

When you compare this monitor to others in its price range, you’d have to say the AW2720HF is right up there for both value and performance, however, it is 1080p which may stop some parting with cash for the rather large price tag. Regardless this is yet another Alienware monitor that is ideal for gaming.

Alienware AW3420DW 34″ Ultrawide Gaming Monitor

Pros
Cons

The Alienware AW3420DW is up there with the best, featuring an excellent gameplay experience, superb colors, and true immersion that smaller monitors simply can’t replicate.

The 120Hz refresh rate may be considered too low for some but aside from that, the specs are high-end. This monitor provides crystal clear colors thanks to 145% sRGB gamut volume which is equivalent to 100% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3. The Nano IPS panel is fantastic and made any task a joy straight out of the box. With G-Sync enabled, you get fully immersed in the games, and thanks to the lower refresh rate, it means less powerful computers can take advantage of this technology.

This monitor is more suited towards single-player titles, especially large free-roam third-person games like Red Dead and The Witcher. The colors were exciting and the 1900R curve made you feel immersed in gameplay – Overall a great curved display.
