BenQ EW3280U review: 4K 32 inch entertainment monitor
A closer look at one of BenQ's newest 32-inch 4K entertainment monitors
The BenQ EW3280U is part of the brand’s entertainment suite, focusing more on image quality and immersion over refresh rates and response times.
Out of the box, the BenQ offers good colors and a wide color gamut, pairing well with the 4K IPS screen for an excellent visual experience. Unfortunately, the BenQ doesn’t feature the speed or response to offer a great gaming experience. It was riddled with smear and ghosting when playing games with fast moving images, making it a poor choice for those that prioritize gaming.
Ultimately, this monitor feels like it caters to the content creator/editor market – which isn’t a bad thing. However, at its current price point, it feels like better value can be found elsewhere.
