The Vow of the Disciple Raid for Destiny 2 has been a bit of a leaky ship. Not one but two bosses have been data-mined as well as the weapons also making an appearance online. Now, though, we could be seeing what looks like one of the biggest spoilers – images from the Raid completion cutscene, usually reserved for the mighty Guardians who overcome it.

Vow of the Disciple Raid end cutscene images

Below, we’ve got two images from the end cutscene from the Vow of the Disciple Raid. So, as always, here’s your final chance to look away and avoid any spoilers going in.

From the images, it appears to show a Scorn-like creature both entering the world as well as fighting against a bunch of Guardians. This likely follows immediately after you defeat it in battle and there will be follow-up images to explain what happens next.

There as suggestions that the name of this ominous figure is Raulk, the first Disciple, and will be the final boss of the Raid itself. This does fall in line with all the story beats we have been getting thus far and certainly matches with the full 3D rendered image that we have previously reported on.

Now, there are whispers that the full end cutscene from Vow of the Disciple has been making the rounds but we haven’t been able to source that as of now. However, these images we have been able to source are pretty spoilerific, especially if you’re a loremonger, and know what this towering monstrosity means for the future of the story.

With the full Raid release less than a week away we’ll get clarification on all of this soon enough but until then, we can all just speculate on how defeating Raulk will have greater implications in the upcoming Lightfall expansion.
