Blizzard Entertainment has announced the Diablo Immortal release date, along with confirmation of it coming to PC. The Diablo Immortal release date is scheduled for June 2, with the full mobile version going live then, along with the PC open beta on the same date. In addition, Diablo Immortal cross-play is available at launch, along with cross-progression for those who play on both the PC and mobile.

Diablo Immortal Release Date – What is available on day 1?

When the Diablo Immortal release date arrives on June 2, players can expect a variety of control options. Diablo Immortal is going to have mouse and keyboard support for those who want to play on a PC. In even more news, PC keyboard and mouse players can play the game using WASD for their controls, along with using the mouse to aim their skills. In addition, both mobile and PC versions of Diablo Immortal can use controllers if they so wish, while mobile has a functioning touchscreen experience too. Both mobile and controller support has been something the devs have been keen to test since the closed beta.

As for the game itself, there are going to be eight different zones, which players explore through the main story around Sanctuary. The story itself is about finding the World Stone fragments and destroying them after Tyrael shattered them at the end of Diablo 2. So, fans of the game’s lore will find there are plenty of new stories that bridge together the dates between Diablo 2 and 3 much better

You can even register interest in the game, especially those who want to play the open beta of the PC version on June 2nd. You will more than likely get to test the PC control scheme features, along with making sure the game is stable for both the cross-play and cross-progression features.

In an opening statement of the announcement, Wyatt Cheng, the lead on Diablo Immortal mentioned they want Diablo Immortal as a solid triple-A experience. Not to mention they wanted as many players as possible in the game. Therefore, a Diablo Immortal PC launch made sense, especially since the PC is the home of the Diablo franchise.
