Dune Spice Wars’ early access launch is nearly here. The game is due to drop on April 26. With players finally getting their hands on the first patch of the early access launch of the game. however, the exact Dune Spice Wars release time is not yet entirely known.

When do we expect the Dune Spice Wars release time?

Funcom and Shiro Games mentioned in a Dune Spice Wars post on Steam that they expect the game to release in the afternoon on April 26. The exact time though remains unclear. The exact post on the Funcom page says: “It’s a bit early to give a specific hour right now, but it should be late afternoon in Europe / morning in America. We’ll share more concrete details on this closer to release.”

This is somewhat typical of European launches of games launching on Steam. Normally when this happens, it means the game goes live somewhere around 15:00 CEST – 17:00 CEST. For the Brits, that is a 14:00 – 18:00 BST launch. Over in America, you can expect the Dune Spice Wars release time in the morning. The east coast should expect it around 09:00 – 13:00, while the Pacific coast may expect it from 06:00 – 10:00 PT.

When the Dune Spice Wars release time arrives, players will then be able to download the game. It is only 3GB in size, so, players will be able to get their hands on the game fairly quickly post-release. From then on, you can then test the game and report your theories on the game’s balance and additional content to help shape it for a version 1 launch which currently has no ETA to an official release.

If you’re interested in checking out the most recent FaQ page on Dune Spice Wars to prepare you for the EA launch, you can check out the official Steam page. Alternatively, keep an eye on the game’s social media for more information in case the game suddenly goes live. We also got our hands on the game’s preview cleint.
