As anticipation hits fever pitch for Elden Ring – early reviews are all marking it in the high 90s according to Metacritic, news of the leaking of the first Elden Ring Battle Pass has caused a real stir.
Sorry to disappoint you though but it seems to have come from a post on Reddit which is definitely fake and as yet we have nothing further on an official one.
In fact, as well done as the joke battle pass is it is clearly just that, claiming to contain a ‘Playable Yeezus’ alongside an Elden Ring’d up version of Kanye. It also mentions pre-ordering will get you a ‘John Dark Souls’ skin for Fortnite, which, to be fair, is pretty funny.
The fact that there is even a market for Reddit karma collectors shows just how popular Elden Ring is set to be. Will it be the greatest game of all time, well depending on who you talk to, quite possibly. For me it will have to go some to beat Super Cars 2 on the Amiga, but what do I know.
