Is Far Cry 6 coming to Nintendo Switch?

There are no plans to release Far Cry 6 on Nintendo Switch. The one and only Far Cry game to appear for a Nintendo Console was Far Cry Instincts back in 2006. Given the limitation of the Switch hardware, if Far Cry 6 were to be announced, it would likely be a Cloud Edition, similar to the version of Dying Light due for release next year.

On the same day as Far Cry 6 is released, the first Far Cry 6 DLC Special Operations mission will become available. The first item of post launch paid content, DLC 1 Insanity, will be released November 2021. Free DLC Crossover Missions (featuring Danny Trejo, Stranger Things, and Rambo) will be released alongside Season Pass content.

  • DLC 1 Insanity – November 2021
  • Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Classic Edition – December 2021
  • DLC 2 Control – January 2022
