343 Studios and Microsoft have revealed even more details coming to the Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event. Players have known there is some form of post-launch content coming up. However, the two confirmed major news regarding the Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai. The details include somewhat a release date, along with a free 30 tier event for players to complete sometime next week.
Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event
The Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event is the first free event of Halo Infinite Season 01. That mysterious Samurai armor that has been sitting in your Halo Infinite multiplay armor workshop section will soon become active.
Sometime next week (November 22-28), the event will go live. Sadly, we do not know exactly what date, but the 20 anniversary ends on November 22, so maybe we get it on Monday or Tuesday like most weekly resets? When it does go live, you can get your hands on a free 30 tier event. The rewards of the event include various spartan armor pieces. We only have a glimpse of a few pieces, such as the default spartan suit. It does appear there are variations of shoulder pads, a ninja breathing mask, and a katana belt. It’s not quite Halo 3’s Hayabusa armor, but it is still pretty based and a fresh take on the Japanese Spartan aesthetic.
Moreso, there are some new gun camos, especially for the default pistol, BR and Sniper Rifle. There’s also a Kanji symbol, so it could be a new Spartan emblem for you to use.
What time does Halo Infinite Facture Tenrai event release?
Halo Infinite is due to release sometime on November 23. However, 343 Studios and Microsoft have not yet mentioned when the event actually starts. If we are to place a bet, we think the Halo Infinite Tenrai event releases around 6 pm BST, which equates to 1 PM ET, 10 AM PT. We believe this to be the case because it is typically when global launches cf content occurs mid week for games with live services. Also, it is roughly around the time that Halo Infinite launched with a surprise last week. When we know more, we will update the page with the full Halo Infinite Fracture Tenrai event release date.
Halo Infinite Season 1 events
The Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event is not the only major thing coming up for Season 1 of Halo Infinite. We know some of the content already, including the 20th Anniversary and the HCS skins. However, we are due a Winter Contingency event, along with a Cyber Showdown and Tactical Ops. Chances are the Winter Contingency is the Christmas period event, while Cyber Showdown can be expected in January, with Tactical Ops in February. At least that’s what we speculate anyway.
343 Studios confirmed to Eurogamer the other day that Season 2 is around May time, which is when they hopefully aim to launch a coop campaign. Moreso, Forge could be due out in Season 3, which isn’t until the late end of 2022. There’s potential that 343 Studios may separate the events into two month seasons to make sure the content spreads out successfully.
