Ah, the ol’ regret about your choices but you’re far too into the game to do a restart. It doesn’t particularly matter, because as soon as you’ve seen the credits roll, you’ll be able to get access to the missing Pokémon.

This is part of our ongoing Pokemon Legends: Arceus guide series, with everything to do with the game and more – including Pokemon Go – all living in our dedicated hubs for the games

After the fight with Dialga or Palkia and you’re done talking with the captain, head straight through to see the professor and you’ll be offered to take both the two missing Pokémon you didn’t choose.

Don’t do what I did though and immediately level up and evolve them, as you’ll miss out on their Pokédex entries and will have to start all over again – Legends autosaves. They’re level 5, so just run around the starting area and get them into the fray against the various Bidoofs as you did at the start (or go beat up some end game Pokémon instead) and you’ll have the ‘dex completed in no time at all.

See which starter is the best with our other guide here, as the final forms have more than just physical changes!
