A lover of janky games, Magic the Gathering and going down rabbit holes, Joel still finds time to goof off on the internet and trying to not find another new hobby.

Magnemite, the cute little eyeball trapped inside a metal shell, is actually in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but comes in its usual form, rather than having a new, old look to it.
The Pokemon debuted alongside Porygon (also in the game) in the first generation of Pokemon, bringing with it an evolution in Magneton and eventually Magnezone. It’ll evolve into Magneton at level 30 and then that’ll turn into Magnezone with a Thunder Stone, post Sword and Shield.
As it’ll appear in its normal form, Magnemite can be found exclusively inside Time Distortions in the Cobalt Coastland and comes in around level 50 in the post-game. This makes it ideal for quickly completing Pokedex entries, as you can evolve one almost as soon as you get it via levelling and then use a second one to fill in the gaps if needed.
This is part of our ongoing Pokemon Legends: Arceus guide series, with everything to do with the game and more – including Pokemon Go – all living in our dedicated hubs for the games!
