As part of the first stage of the Season of Alola in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be researching Melemele Island, one of the four tropical islands that make up the Alola region. Completing the “A Melemele Adventure” tasks will result in encounters with Pokémon never seen before in Pokémon GO.

- Catch 10 Pokémon — Alolan Rattata encounter
- Send three Gifts with a Sticker — 10 Poké Balls
- Catch five Normal-type Pokémon — Yungoos encounter
Rewards: 10 Pinap Berries, 500 Stardust, 500 XP

- Take a snapshot of any wild Pokémon — Five Razzberries
- Use seven Berries to help catch Pokémon — 10 Great Balls
- Catch 10 Pokémon — Pikipek encounter

- Catch six Normal-type Pokémon — Yungoos encounter
