My Time At Sandrock is a follow-up to the hugely successful My Time at Portia and has a very similar visual style to the first game in the series. As such, it has pretty low system requirements for the most part, so most modern systems won’t struggle to run the game. Even so, the only real way to be sure you can play it on release day is to check your hardware.

If you’re not sure how checking your hardware works, don’t panic. We’ve written a guide on checking your hardware stats to make it much easier for you. Once you know your stats, compare them with those listed below. If your hardware doesn’t match up to what is needed, you’ll have to replace your system, or at least buy some new, more powerful parts.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend To Play My Time At Sandrock?

My Time at Sandrock is pretty comparable to the original game in terms of the specs needed, so if you could run the first game, then you can probably run this one. If you do need to build yourself a new machine, then you can probably get most of the parts that you’ll need for between $500 to $600, though that does depend heavily on the availability of parts.

For a pre-built machine, an $800 rig will run the game at recommended settings, but only if you can find one for retail prices. With the ongoing chip shortage, some pre-built machines are going for inflated prices as they can be the only way to get your hands on a decent GPU.
