For Amazon’s deals of the day on November 1st, 2021, they’re giving 20% off a 2017 version (although it’s advertised as a 2020 version this is inaccurate) of the Apple iMac ahead of Black Friday 2021. This is the perfect choice for amateur graphical or web designers who are dedicated Apple lovers. Read below for more details of what’s in this machine.

Amazon’s best Apple iMac deal of the day

The Apple iMac is an iconic piece of kit. An all-in-one machine that fits its core components behind the display, the iMac is essentially a gorgeous-looking monitor with the power of a PC behind it, and great for those looking to better economize their use of space.

The lush, colorful, high contrast display of the iMac is one of its selling points, and as with most Apple machines it’s up there with the best money can buy. This particular iMac has 1920 x 1080p resolution on its 21.5″ screen.

The core specs of this machine (Intel Core i5 CPU, integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD) are relatively low-powered and can’t be upgraded, making it unsuitable for any kind of intensive 3D modeling, professional-grade video editing or the like, but if you’re after an elegant machine for non-demanding office tasks, including some light graphic design or web design, then this could be a great choice.

This iMac also comes with a keyboard, though be aware it doesn’t have a numeric keypad included, so we’d recommend upgrading this. Additionally, we’d advise picking up an external hard drive to supplement the 256GB SSD it comes with.
