When the Sims 4 Cottage Living, there was a collective squeal of delight among Sims fans. Finally, an expansion pack that actually adds something new to the otherwise same-y game. With the endless list of Sims 4 DLC, players were starting to get a little bored. Hence why when players found out they could indulge in their true cottage core lifestyle wish, it was a must-have for a lot of fans.
But then again, Sims 4 DLC, – especially expansion packs – aren’t cheap. So while there were many who wanted it, there were even more who couldn’t afford it at the time. There was no time for us to make our farm, adopt our own cows and build cute barns. Thankfully now, EA have come around to that time of year. Where they slice the prices of their endless expansions.

If you were like me, and unable to get Cottage Living when it first came out. Then now’s the ideal time, it won’t be cheaper than this. And it’s not like all of the other DLCs, this one feels like a genuinely new addition to the overall game, and not just money down the EA drain.
Sims 4 Cottage Living adds a whole lot more animals. Cows, chickens, llamas, rabbits, foxes and birds. Each of which can be interacted with, and some of the domestic animals can be milked, and provide for an au naturel lifestyle. In theory, you could entirely live off your own farm, never needing to spend any money on groceries! You can also indulge in the village lifestyle with the new town, Hendorn-on-Bagley.
