For the very best Samsung TVs on Black Friday 2021, from budget to premium QLED televisions, you’ve come to the right place. Samsung is one of the biggest electronics companies in the world, making everything from fridges and washing machines, to mobile phones and of course, the mighty Samsung TV.
At one point Samsung was the undisputed king of the tv space, though in recent years they have faced stiff competition from the likes of LG with their OLED technology. Nevertheless, Samsung came back swinging, improving their QLED technology (now dubbed Neo QLED) to the point where it can compete with OLED in some scenarios.

For the majority of people, 4K is more than enough resolution for all their multimedia needs, and within this bracket the 120Hz Samsung QN95A is undoubtedly the best Samsung TV available this Black Friday when everything is taken into account. Nevertheless, if you can’t get hold of one of these, the slightly older Samsung QN90A comes a close second, essentially coming with an identical display but somewhat inferior sound.
If you’re looking for the best Samsung TV for gaming this Black Friday, the Samsung Q80/Q80T not only has a terrific 120Hz refresh rate, but superbly low input lag and response time, not to mention VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support.
For those who really want to push the boat out to 8K then the Samsung QN900A is the best 8K TV you will find this Black Friday. And for those who want an affordable 4K option, the Samsung AU8000 and Samsung TU8000 are both great options.
The best budget Samsung TVs this Black Friday
The Samsung AU8000 is the 2021 revamp of the Samsung TU8000, this time with better reflection handling and gradient handling (meaning less color banding). Like its predecessor, the Samsung AU8000 comes in a variety of different size variants (from 43” up to 85”) and a 4K (UHD) resolution VA display.
You won’t get the same features on this TV as you would on some of the more expensive models (there’s no local dimming feature, it doesn’t support VRR and HDR is limited) but you do get a superb native contrast ratio.
60Hz is the highest refresh rate you’re able to get for this television, so we wouldn’t really recommend it for PC gaming unless FPS above 60 isn’t something you care about. If you really do want to game on it, we’d probably recommend the Samsung TU8000 over this model, as it actually has slightly better motion handling than the newer version (meaning less motion blur in games). Ultimately either option would make a great budget tv this Black Friday.

Although the Samsung Q80/Q80T 4K QLED TV, first released in 2020 has technically been superseded by the more recent Samsung Q80/Q80A with an ADS panel, we think the older model with its VA panel is still the superior of the two. You’re also more likely to be able to get the Samsung Q80/Q80T for a discounted price this Black Friday 2021.

The VA panel gives deep blacks and the HDR rendering helps to produce a wide range of colors on the screen. The viewing angles are wide, which is good for console gamers playing with friends, and most importantly the great response times, motion handling and 120Hz refresh rate give smooth moving image replication even on the most fast-paced games. The ideal Samsung gaming TV this Black Friday.
The best 4K Samsung TVs this Black Friday
The top of Samsung’s 4K TV range, and its most feature-packed TV in general, is the Samsung QN95A, although those in the US may struggle to find one this Black Friday, and instead may wish to opt for the slightly less advanced, though slightly cheaper Samsung QN90A.

50” Class The Frame QLED 4K Smart TV
Both these TVs come with 4K resolution, 120Hz Neo QLED displays with ultra-thin bezels and HDR10+ support. Colors, peak brightness and contrast is superb on both models. The differences between the two come from all the features outside of the display quality itself – the base on the QN90A is a bit less sturdy, the body is a bit less slender it doesn’t have the One Connect box feature of the QN95A to help manage cables external to the TV itself, and it only has one HDMI 2.1 port with three 2.0 ports, compared to the four HDMI 2.1 on the QN95A. All of this is relatively minor stuff though. The biggest difference is the fact that the later Samsung QN95A comes with the improved 70W OTS+ sound system, which does give a much more impressive 3D audio experience, compared to the 60W OTS.
Nevertheless, the Samsung QN90A is still a mightily impressive piece of kit, that you can pick up at a discount compared to a QN95A of the same price. Expect to see discounts on both going live this Black Friday.

As far as 8K Samsung TVs go, the crown undoubtedly goes to the Samsung QN900A Neo QLED. Though not quite up there technically speaking with the latest OLED displays, in practical terms the enhanced QLED technology offers a comparable standard of contrast ratio, with good detail in the blacks and top-notch brightness levels. This is chiefly thanks to the use of so-called ‘Quantum’ Mini LEDs by Samsung.

Samsung’s Neo Quantum Processor 8K does a great job of upscaling the resolution of any 1080p, 1440p or 4K input without making it look atrocious on the ridiculously high-res display. Although you can’t expect great response time on a TV this big, compared to a gaming monitor, say, the low input lag and high response time, not to mention VRR support, are all great features for gamers.
The biggest drawback of this display is ultimately the price, and you arguably get the same amount for less with other brands. Still, if you’ve got your heart set on an 8K Samsung TV this black Friday, keep your eye out for deals on the Samsung QN900A Neo QLED.
