Pokémon Legends: Arceus is almost upon us, and if you’re looking for the cheapest Pokémon Legends: Arceus pre-order, you’re in luck as the UK retailer Currys currently have an ongoing promotion where you will be able to grab the game, on time for the release date on January 28, all for under £40, which is a fairly incredible offer. Pokémon and other first-party Nintendo titles are usually something that we rarely see price-drops on, so it’s likely that you are not going to see a price like this for some time after its launch.
Currys is currently running a pre-order promotion on the game where you can get a huge chunk off of the price if you enter their special code ‘ARCEUS15‘ which will chop off 15% of the listed price.
Nick Hayden, Head of Gaming at Currys said in a statement sent via email: “Pokémon Arceus: Legends on the Nintendo Switch is officially the most pre-ordered game EVER in Currys history, with a projection of 25,000 to be bagged on launch day this Friday too.”
However, it’s unclear if you will be able to also attain the pre-order bonus with the game, which would have ordinarily netted you a Growlithe Kimono Set, which you can see here. The game itself is a departure from what you usually get with Pokémon titles, and this time takes place set in the past, in the Sinnoh region, where the original fourth-generation Pokémon Diamond and Pearl previously took place. This open-world title has you choosing your starter, and looking for Pokémon in an experience that we’ve never seen before. With reportedly glowing reviews coming out of Japan, this title is looking to shake up the usual formula and bring gamers a brand-new experience that they are certain to never forget.
