If you’re still on the fence when it comes to Call of Duty: Vanguard and don’t want to fork out for the full game, fear not, Activision has just announced a Call of Duty: Vanguard free access weekend. Yep, that’s right, you’ll be able to play the latest installment of Call of Duty without having to spend a penny. Better still, while the free trial is for a limited time only, you do get access to the game for a full 4 days – running from November 18-22.

Free access to Call of Duty: Vanguard will give participating players full access to all multiplayer content, alongside Vanguard’s own version of the shipment map. Despite this only running for around 4 days, it will give you enough time to decide whether or not Call of Duty: Vanguard is the game for you.

Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer mode receives free access weekend

The announcement was made via social media channels and an official Call of Duty blog post on November 16th, 2021. It stated that players would receive full access to the new Call of Duty game, alongside the latest version of Shipment – a classic Call of Duty map that arrived 14 years ago.

The free access period will start from 10AM November 18th and run through till 10AM November 22nd. During this time period, all players will get full access to the multiplayer mode, including the ability to level up over three dozen weapons before they launch on Warzone Pacific.

If you’ve been keeping up to date with the latest Call of Duty news, you’ll already know that the latest Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific map has been delayed, meaning users will have to wait an extra 7 days to play the new map.

How to play Call of Duty: Vanguard for free?

So, if you’re interested in playing Call of Duty: Vanguard for free this weekend, fear not, it couldn’t be easier to get up and running.

Simply head over to the official Call of Duty purchasing page, follow the links for the version of the game you’d like to try (Xbox, PS5, PC), and simply click the ‘Try’ button to get up and running.
