Many fans of the original Dying Light are now eagerly awaiting the launch of its sequel, Dying Light 2 – Stay Human. The game takes another spin at the parkour zombie RPG title. The game has a greater focus on both the infected as a greater nighttime threat and the human factions causing you to make key decisions that affect the political landscape. With the hype building, Techland has made it much easier for players to prepare themselves for the new world of zombie parkour. Dying Light 2 release time – Countdown to the game’s launch
We have attached the Dying Light 2 release time infographic Techland kindly released on their Twitter account. Techland has posted its official Dying Light 2 release time. The game is due to launch on February 4 for most places in the world. However, some places can get their hands on the game on February 3rd, largely due to the Dying Light 2’s global release time sync. So, if you’re in the new world, you will get your hands on the game in the evening. Lucky for some – especially PC players.
It is also worth mentioning that console players can only unlock the game at midnight local time on February 4. However, that probably means the old geolocation switch on your console account will mean you can launch Dying Light 2 early. We don’t recommend doing this, but the option is there if you really want the Dying Light 2 countdown to go that little bit quicker.

Dying Light 2 preload – When can you pre-load Dying Light 2?
The good news, players can pre-load Dying Light 2 on their devices before the game’s official launch. Both PC and PS players will be able to get their hands on the game 48 hours before the launch. The pre-loads go live for Europeans typically around Feb 2 at 00:00 or 01:00. North American PC or PS users can download the game from Feb 1 at 19:00 ET or 16:00 PT.
However, if you’re an Xbox player, you can get your Dying Light 2 preload right now. If you’re wondering how big Dying Light 2 is on Xbox, it appears to be 34GB. Meanwhile, the PC system requirements recommended a storage requirement of 60GB. At the time of writing, there is no official information on how big Dying Light 2 is for PS5. Leaks indicate roughly 21GB, but that remains to be seen until two days before the PS5 preload of Dying Light becomes available.
