It’s wise to start stockpiling Azoth as soon as you start playing New World. From level 20, enemies have a chance of dropping New World Azoth. But until then, you’re going to have to rely on completing main quests for the most part.

Azoth is used to fast travel, craft better items, re-spec weapons, and raise the dead. Speaking of weapon re-specs, this is free up to level 10, so it’s wise to make the changes you need to make before hitting it. Here’s everything else you need to know about New World Azoth:

New World Azoth – Commitment To The Cause

This is the first quest to reward you with Azoth, it also allows further quests to reward Azoth. Make sure you get the Commitment To The Cause questline out of the way as soon as possible.

New World Azoth – Azoth Extraction Perks

You can also spend Azoth whilst crafting to give a better chance at gaining an attridute, gem slot, or perk. But what about when it comes to extracting Azoth? This is where Azoth Extraction Perks come into play. This perk can be found included in tools that high-level enemies drop, but even then, the tool only has a 30% chance of extracting Azoth from something. It’s better than nothing, but it’s not worth concentrating on finding Azoth extraction perk tools for those kinds of chances.

Christian Wait

Christian has been an avid gamer since Sonic The Hedgehog blew his little mind apart in his MegaDrive II. This was followed up with an unhealthy obsession with every model of GameBoy, PS1, Dreamcast, Gamecube, and so on. His favorite game series of all time include The Elder Scrolls (Morrowind onwards), Pokémon (First Starter was Bulbasaur), The Legend of Zelda (Windwaker HD on Nintendo Switch Please) and Halo (Yes, I enjoyed Guardians and can't wait for Halo: Infinite) He's turned these aforementioned obsessions into a healthy career over the last five years, which means his family and friends are now proud of him.
