How to get the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond mystery gifts

Some of you may remember that the first Sinnoh games featured a special mystery gift that offered us Manaphy! Well this event has come back again in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. But it’s not just Manaphy, it’s a variety of different mystery gifts we can all get.

How to unlock mystery gifts

Sadly, you won’t be able to unlock mystery gifts right away. Instead, you’ll need to jump through a few hoops. Firstly, you can unlock the ability to receive Mystery Gifts at the TV station in Jubilife City. Something that can only be entered after getting the 1st badge and defeating the Galactic Grunts in a Double Battle north of the city.

After this, head to the Jubilife TV, going to the 3rd floor. Talk to the TV producer and answer his question with TV with ‘EVERYONE HAPPY WI-FI CONNECTION’. This will unlock the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond mystery gifts feature. If you select any of the other random options, it will give you stickers, so you can do that first before giving the correct answer.

After you’ve answered the questions, open the start menu and the Mystery Gifts feature will be available.

How to receive Mystery Gifts

Once you select the Mystery Gift option, you’ll have too options. To received mystery gifts via Internet or code/password. Mystery Gifts can come int he form of special Pokemon or items that are free to receive and can be downloaded for a limited period.
