As was the case during its beta, Riders Republic will support crossplay (cross platform multiplayer) between all release formats (PC, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 4, and Xbox One). However, while players will be able to compete with friends across platforms, there are limits depending on the platform. Most multiplayer modes will be unaffected, but the Mass Races mode on Playstation 4 and Xbox One will only allow for 20 simultaneous players, while the maximum across other platforms is 50 players.

Riders Republic also supports cross-gen cross progression. This means that if you upgrade from PS4 to the PS5, or from Xbox One to an Xbox Series console, progression will carry over and you will not have to start afresh.

How to enable / disable crossplay in Riders Republic

  • Bring up the Options menu and select Gameplay.
  • There under Opponents is the Crossplay toggle, which is on by default.
  • To avoid having to play against those on other platforms, toggle Crossplay to off.
  • Exit the Options menu to return to the game.
