Developed by Ubisoft Annecy, Riders Republic is due for release on October 28, 2021 on PC, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. The game will also be available via Google’s Stadia and Amazon’s Luna cloud streaming services.
A spiritual successor to Ubisoft Annecy’s own Steep, Riders Republic aims to build on the extreme sports playground idea with more sports and events, a larger open world, and a little less snow cover.

Riders Republic release time
In line with other Ubisoft games, Rider’s Republic will unlock at midnight local time on the day of release, October 28, 2021. At that moment the servers will come online and those with the game installed will be able to join a game and bust some radical moves.

Riders Republic preload
There’s been no announcement about preloading Riders Republic, but we expect preloads to commence within 48 hours of the game launch, from October 26. Obviously to be eligible to preload Riders Republic you will need to have pre-ordered and purchased the game. You can pre-purchase the game on the Epic store now.
Riders Republic file size
The Riders Republic beta download weighed in at 21GB. Steep was 25GB, so we can probably expect a file size of around the same ballpark figure. When we have confirmation of what the Riders Republic file size is we’ll let you know by updating this page.
Riders Republic on Steam
Riders Republic is exclusive to the Epic Games Store and Ubi Store and is not currently available from Steam.
Riders Republic on Game Pass
Riders Republic will not be available to Game Pass subscribers. However, those with active Ubisoft+ accounts will have access to the game as part of their ongoing subscription. Ubisoft+ is available to those subscribed to Amazon’s Luna game streaming service.
