Amazon prime day is a very limited-time event run every year. During the small ~24-hour window, there are huge discounts on all sorts, from video games to PC hardware, and even furniture and books get their prices slashed in a big way. Amazon typically keeps the dates of Prime day a secret until the date approaches. But it’s worth keeping an eye out as some of the things you were already planning on buying might have their prices but by up to 70% in some cases, so there are definite bargains to grab. It’s worth noting here that you have to be an Amazon Prime member to access these deals.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2022?
Amazon Prime day 2022 is looking like it’ll run throughout July 12-13. This tallies up with previous years as they typically pick a summer month, perhaps to capitalize on the summer happiness where people will be more likely to treat themselves. So, remember July 12-13th as this will be the best discount period you’ll get until Black Friday rolls around again.

As mentioned earlier, you have to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of the Prime Day deals. So what exactly do you get for your money? Well, you of course get the unlimited 24-hour delivery service, which we think is worth it all on its own. However, most people get it for the fantastic streaming platform, Prime Video.
Given that it costs $14.99 a month or $139.99 a year, these two aspects make it a strong value for money proposition. Overall we consider it worth it, but if you disagree, you could just sign up for July to get those deals, then cancel it afterward.
What were the best Amazon Prime Day deals of 2021?
Last year we saw great deals with some frankly ludicrous discounts. Sennheiser slashed an unreal 53% off of their Sennheiser CX400BT TWS earbuds, taking the price down from $169 to $79.
