For gamers, the battle between PC and console has always been a contentious one. With platform-exclusive game titles meaning many of us invest in multiple systems, it’s becoming more and more common to see console games, including those for Xbox consoles, playable with a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller.

We all know that cross-platform multiplayer games often see keyboard and mouse players flying past those on controllers. That’s where Xbox keyboard and mouse games come in – you can have the power of a console with the accuracy of your favorite peripherals.

List of Xbox keyboard and mouse games

Unfortunately, not every Xbox game can be played with a keyboard and mouse, but there is still a pretty nice collection you can take advantage of. What’s more, many of these games are available for free download on both PC and Xbox consoles with a Game Pass subscription. We’ve limited this list to those games that offer full KBM support, while there are a few more that can be played with just keyboard or mouse, such as Octopath Traveler and Untitled Goose Game. It’s also worth noting that you might need a controller to get past initial setup.

Danielle has been in love with video games ever since her older brothers handed down their PS1 instead of buying her a Christmas present. She grew up fighting her way through epic JRPGs.
