Ive finished udpating my bios using m-flash(my motherboard flashing name)

I did not put the usb in the rear port, but it able to finish the bios update

Now the problem is.. it still not able t run ryzen 5000. My screen went black and my led debug for cpu is on.
So i put back my old 2600 which still runs fine

Im running this pc with the latest spec:
Ryzen 5600g
Msi b450m gaming plus
16gb of ram speed 2666 elite
Rx5700 8gb

Need help

  I’d recommend putting the USB with the correct and renamed BIOS into the correct slot. So you need the newest not beta BIOS for the correct motherboard, rename it to MSI.ROM (make sure to change the extension which you may have to show in explorer) and place it in the root (the folder when you open your USB). Then make sure to put it into the right flash port and run the flash again. Be sure to check out the manual for your motherboard too to make sure you’re doing it right.

You should be able to flash it without a cpu. You have a bios flash button on the rear I/O. Just remember to put the BIOS files on a Fat32 USB(nothing else on it), don’t forget to rename the proper file as specified on ASUS’s website, place it in the usb slot marked out with white lines and Bios above it. Plug in your 24 pin and cpu pin connectors(nothing else is needed. Dont have anything else connected) and lastly press the bios flash back and wait. I bought my motherboard a couple of weeks back (ASUS crosshair hero viii x570) something like that, but I’ve never had a amd cpu. I was planning on buying the 5900x when it launches, will it work in my motherboard or am how am I suppose to update the bios without a cpu?
