WWE 2K22 is the newest installment in the WWE Games franchise. It revamped the series after a brief break and introduced a lot of changes to the game. It is a type of game you will not want to play alone all the time so playing with friends is advised, either locally or in online mode. However, does WWE 2K22 Have Crossplay?
Is There Crossplay in WWE 2K22?
The answer is sadly no. You are not able to play with friends on other platforms than your own, however there is a new feature that introduces at least a little bit of hope for the future. For the first time in the series the Community Creations are cross-platform. It means that players from all the platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC can upload their custom superstars to a single place, and everyone can download their creation. You will need a 2K account for that.
To enable that all you need to do is just press Triangle on PlayStation or Y on Xbox in the main menu. It will open up the menu to log in or create your 2K account. You also need to go to Online tab by pressing R1/L1 on PlayStation or RB/LB on Xbox and go into Online Options in the bottom right corner of the screen. The second option from the bottom will allow you to turn on the cross-platform community creations.
Community Creations are a wonderful thing in WWE 2K games and always brings the whole player base together. You can download, upload and manage various creations by yourself or other players. This year everyone can enjoy creations from any platform which is a step in the right direction. Hopefully the full-blown crossplay in the future!
