WWE 2K22 is a game that is base around the stars and characters you play. Some are unlocked from the very beginning, but others need to be unlocked by other means. Some characters are unlocked by completing matches in WWE 2K Showcase mode, this year featuring the career of Rey Mysterio. However, there are some stars that are unlocked with VC (Virtual Currency).
To earn that currency all you need to do is play matches, and at the end you will be rewarded the points. The other option is to purchase them for real money, but I would not recommend that. It is a lot cheaper to buy the WWE 2K22 SuperCharger. This is small and not that expensive DLC will unlock every superstar apart those from the 2K Showcase mode.
All the WWE Superstars that can be unlocked in WWE 2K22 will cost almost 40 000 VC in total.

It makes a total of 38 900 VC to unlock everything in WWE 2K22. The time needed is approximately 2 weeks of playing the game on a normal basis like maybe 2 hours a day or so. It is hard to estimate exactly, but it is not that hard to unlock everything for free. If you are impatient like I was you can always buy the WWE 2K22 SuperCharger DLC for only $4.99.
