In the newest installment in the WWE 2K franchise there are a lot of songs to choose from, however the ability to choose your own tracks like in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw era is still not there.
You are not able to add your own custom music on PlayStation and Xbox. PC has the power of mods and other stuff, so I will skip that in this article. For an average player this option is not there by default, especially on consoles.
WWE Music in general became a bit weaker these days, so there are fewer great tunes for you to choose, but there are still many great songs. This year you can also select the soundtrack of the game as entrance themes.
For the first time all the tracks that are added as OST are selectable in Create-An-Entrance section. The songs listed there are:
- Machine Gun Kelly – concert for aliens
- Machine Gun Kelly feat. YOUNGBLUD and Bret McCracken – body bag
- Wu-Tang Clan – Protect Ya Neck
- Bad Bunny – Booker T
- Motörhead – Iron Fist
- Poppy – Say Cheese (NXT Live Version)
- Royal Blood – Typhoons
- Bring Me the Horizon – Happy Song
- The Weekend – Heartless
- Turnstile – I Don’t Wanna Be Blind
- Asking Alexandria – The Final Episode (Let’s Change the Channel)
- KennyHoopla and Travis Barker – hollywood sucks
These are all the tracks for you to choose from in addition to normal WWE theme songs. Another notable thing missing is D-Generation X theme song. First thing I did in the game was creating my own Universe Rosters and created some teams. I wanted to make DX as a nostalgic tag team to feature Shawn Michaels and Triple H on my shows, however I was surprised to see that neither their entrance motion nor music are not in the game.
