Buy when you see a good deal – As you’ve probably noticed, over the last 24 months, stock levels haven’t exactly been impressive. Many of the market’s leading products have been hitting shelves in dribs and drabs, with stock often selling out in no time at all. Well, you can accelerate the purchasing speed come July 12th – with stock lasting even less time. Our number 1 tip is, if you see a banging deal on a TV, don’t hesitate to pop it in the basket.

Do your research beforehand – It’s no secret that Amazon can sometimes get fast and loose when it comes to TV pricing. One of our top tips is to do your research on select products before the big day so you know what the product usually costs. This way, you’ll be able to efficiently tell whether a “good deal” is actually a good deal or not.

Bookmark your favourite TVs – One of the best ways to keep an eye on pricing is to bookmark your favourite products and keep refreshing them on Amazon Prime Day. This way you’ll be able to focus more clearly on a few specific items and won’t run the risk of impulse purchasing.

What were the best Amazon Prime Day TVdeals of 2021?

Last year played host to a tonne of great TV deals, spanning various display types and technologies. We saw plenty of offers on brands such as LG, Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung, with savings eclipsing the £500 mark respectively.

Most of the deals last year were found on 2020 models and technology, with only limited savings to be found on that year’s TV models. We saw smaller 1080p variants go for as little as £200, with brands like Sony and TCL featuring largely in this sector. We saw more expensive offerings such as LG’s OLED range drop by a similar £200 margin, albeit only on aging models.

Some of the higher-end options at the time were also discounted, however, savings weren’t as generous. We saw Hisense, Panasonic, and Samsung models reduced by £150.

All being said, with stock levels increasing and newer technologies being announced in 2022, we expect this year’s Amazon Prime Day to be one of the best yet.

Do I need Amazon Prime to get Prime Day TV deals?

Sounds like a silly question but it’s one we receive around this time of year fairly regularly. Unfortunately, the answer is yes, you will need to be an Amazon Prime member to become eligible for these discounts.

Fortunately, you can start a free 30-day Prime trial which allows you to get a taste of those smoking hot deals without actually spending a penny. And don’t worry too much, Bezos is one of the richest men in the world after all!
