That being said, our number 1 tip is, if you see a cracking deal on a monitor this year, don’t hesitate to pop it in the basket.

Research the top monitors – It’s no secret that Amazon can sometimes get “fast and loose” when it comes to monitor pricing. One of our top tips is to do your research on the monitors you’re interested in before the big day so you know what they usually cost. This way, you’ll be able to efficiently tell whether a “good deal” is actually a good deal or not.

Bookmark your favourite monitors – Another great way to keep on top of the monitors you’re interested in is to simply bookmark those pages and continue to refresh them around Prime Day. This way you’ll be able to focus more clearly on a few specific monitors and won’t run the risk of impulse purchasing – something we’ve all fallen victim to over the years.

What were the best Amazon Prime Day monitor deals of 2021?

Amazon Prime Day 2021 was a pretty good year as far as monitor deals were concerned. It played host to a tonne of deals on some of the market’s best 2020 models – including 4K, 144Hz, 1080p, and ultrawide offerings. We saw well over £100 knocked off some of the market’s best gaming monitors, with big brands such as Samsung, Acer, ASUS, ZOWIE, and DELL all featuring.

While a lot of the last year’s deals were found on 2020 models, that wasn’t always the case. We saw some of the best gaming monitors from 2021 also discounted – albeit by a smaller margin. Older gaming monitors were reduced by up to 40%, meaning buyers could have snapped up a tasty £300 saving.

Some of the higher-end options at the time were also discounted, however, savings weren’t as generous. We saw ASUS, Alienware, and Samsung models reduced by £150.

with that in mind, and as stock levels start to become more widespread, we expect this year’s Amazon Prime Day to be one of the best yet.

Do I need Amazon Prime to get Prime Day monitor deals?

While this may sound obvious, it’s actually one of the most commonly asked questions we receive around this time of year. And unfortunately, the answer is yes, you do need an Amazon Prime account to be eligible for Prime Day monitor deals.

Fortunately, you can start a free 30-day Prime trial which allows you to get a taste of those red hots deals without actually spending a penny. And don’t worry too much, Bezos is one of the richest men in the world after all!
